Top Priority Safety

This product is designed to prevent children from slamming doors shut and getting locked in a room by using it on the top or opening side of wood, metal or plastic interior doors that are 30 to 45mm thick.

The best way to store your Slam Stopper when you’re not using it is in a Fred EZ-Dock. This gives parents peace and security, for when their children are running around the house.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ideally, you need to baby proof your home before your little one starts crawling or walking, because once they start moving, they won’t stop! Very quickly, you will realise how dangerous your home is. We recommend you start baby proofing at around 6 months, so you are ready in plenty of time for the baby to start crawling.

It can be daunting to look at your whole house and try to work out what you need to baby proof. So we recommend working your way through the house room by room.

Get down to your toddler’s level by crawling around on your hands and knees (yes!) so that you can identify the dangers, and then make a list of everything you need to move or safeguard in that room before moving on to the next.
