Car Seat - Reclining In Comfort
The Inglesina Darwin Infant Recline i-Size Car Seat combines cutting-edge safety and comfort features for your baby. Equipped with I.S.A. (Integrated Shock Absorber) technology, it minimises collision impact, while expanded polyurethane inserts enhance side-impact protection.
The adjustable headrest and integrated harness ensure a perfect fit as your child grows, with no need for rethreading. The innovative reclining backrest provides an ergonomic, strain-free position for optimal development.
Designed for rearward-facing use, it installs easily with the Darwin 360° i-Size base or a 3-point car belt, making it a versatile, secure choice for every journey.
Integrated Shock Absorber
Thanks to the revolutionary I.S.A. (Integrated Shock Absorber) technology, this product can effectively absorb and minimise the energy transmitted to a child in the unfortunate event of a collision, providing optimal safety measures even when the child is reclining.
Side Head Protection
This system is specially designed with inserts made of expanded polyurethane to provide additional protection against side impacts.
Height-Adjustable Headrest
The headrest, integrated with the shoulder straps, can be quickly and easily adjusted by changing the toggle from the back. To ensure maximum safety, ensure the baby’s head is properly in line with the supporting headrest.
The harness will be safe as long as the headrest is at the right setting. Some parents may have the harness too high or low, which would be a problem, whereas it is much easier to see if the headrest is correct. Additionally, it saves parents the trouble of having to rethread the harness as the baby grows.
Position In The Car
It can be positioned inside the car only rearward facing, on the rear seats or on the front seat only if the airbag has been disabled. It can be installed in the car on its own using the 3-point car safety belts, with the Darwin360° i-Size base.
Ergonomic Recline
Thanks to its revolutionary reclining backrest, this car seat guarantees that your precious little one will be able to relax in the most natural and ergonomically-friendly position possible, effectively minimizing any pressure or strain and ultimately promoting optimal growth and development.
Rotating Isofix Base - Improved Car Seat Installation
Easy to install, the Isofix contains all instructions neatly written as a label on the base in a few simple steps.
The Darwin 360 i-Size Base is designed to be easily compatible with the Toddler i-Size Car Seat, so you can upgrade without needing to buy a new base. A well thought out solution – you won’t need to buy a new Isofix base as your baby gets older, saving you money in the long run.
Safe and Easy Installation
Thanks to Inglesina’s intelligent base design, installation has never been easier. By following the step by step instructions printed on a sticker attached to the base, anyone can install this unit without making a single mistake.
In simple terms, the red-green lights indicate if a component has been successfully connected. Don’t drive off with baby if you see a red light. There are three lights: for the car, the floor, and the seat.
The connectors built into the Isofix have smooth edges, which guide you when connecting the car seats to the base.
Infant Carrier Compatible
The Inglesina Darwin Car Seat i-Size makes it easy to securely connect your newborn baby in their car seat. The car seat is ergonomically designed and will fit smoothly into the correct place with the Isofix system. You simply need to place the seat on top.
The car seat has an indicator that turns green when it is properly installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
For the safety of your baby, they should remain facing the rear of the car until they are at least 15 months old.
Rearward Facing Toddler
The Isofix can be used with the next stage car seat for children up to 105 cm tall, or approximately 4 years old.
For the maximum safety of your toddler, you should position their car seat rearward facing. The reclined position of the toddler car seat is similar to the infant carrier, making the transition for your baby easier.
Forward Facing Toddler
If your toddler’s legs are too long for the car seat, you can switch it to a forward-facing position. This can be necessary for taller children who have no leg room in a rearward facing position, as it provides them with more space to stretch out their legs.
This position will also make the baby happier, as it is how adults sit in the car, making the environment more inclusive for them.
