Made in Italy, the new Oyster Bistro highchair is a modern, versatile and easy-to-use highchair – ready to join your child in the world of eating.

With its full recline, the Oyster Bistro is suitable from birth, up to 15 kg, and folds away neatly when not in use.

As your child grows, you have full control over the Oyster Bistro’s 7 height and recline options. You also have the option to adjust the height of the harness.

The 5-point harness keeps your little one safe and secure, whilst the wipe clean seat makes cleaning up after meals a breeze. The Oyster Bistro comes with a handy double tray, the top one features a cup holder and is dishwasher safe.

Most toddlers are ready to transition out of high chairs between 12 months and 2 years old. Most babies can sit in a regular chair by themselves by around 18 months.

However, remember that all children are unique and will go at their own pace.

Babies need a lot of support to sit up and stay in a good position while eating. Young kids don’t have the muscle strength or control to sit upright on their own for very long.

High chairs help them sit comfortably and safely during mealtimes by providing the necessary support.

A high chair is just for feeding, and you shouldn’t let your child nap in one. People usually wonder if it’s safe for the baby to sleep in a high chair. The simple answer is ‘No’.

When your little one starts to feel sleepy, take them out of the high chair and place them back in their usual sleeping spot.

Your child may be bored. This is usually the case with older babies, who would rather play or crawl around than be strapped to a chair!

So try to make mealtimes fun, with lots of praise and smiles. A good highchair toy can come in handy.
